Art Star is one of my favorite places in the city. I've been going there since they opened and it keeps getting better. Megan and Erin have curated such a wonderful collection of artists and makers. I've found wonderful gifts here - ceramics, jewelry, prints, paintings - but I pretty much always leave with something for myself, too. I love their new location at the Independence Vistors Center. Note that Google Maps has them in the wrong space - they're now at 599 Market Street (in Philadelphia). Don't miss this place - it's a gem!

Art Star is a great shop full of unique hand crafted items perfect for oneself or gift giving. The owners are wonderful and helpful. With the recent move to the Independence Visitor’s Center at 599 Market Street the new shop location provides more space and is designed beautifully.

Art Star is a special place. Wonderful little shop and pop up markets throughout the city showcasing local artisans! Def worth checking out to find unique wares and support local artists.

Art Star is a wonder.
With a vibrant and diverse selection of artwork, clothing and home goods, made from small artists, you can find anything you need for gifts or even your own enjoyment.

The owners are leaders in the community and care deeply about their work, the store and how it all impacts the city they call home.

It's worth it to visit just to see the diversity of local artists works and fun gifts you can buy your self and friends.

599 Market St (they moved out of the Bourse!)

Art Star is a gem! They put on wonderful events for the community and curate their space fantastically. I have purchased many gifts from here over the years. Thanks for all you do Art Star!

Art Star's new location at the Independence Visitors Center at 599 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA is outstanding! This updated and well lit space gives them more room to stock a bundle of amazing goods from artists of all kinds. I especially love their Unicorn mascot, Arthur Star!!
